In Brief...
Toby Towson has a B.A. in Psychology from Michigan State University and a Masters in Education from University of Maryland.
A six time national gymnastics champion and professional dancer with 22 years experience in NYC, Toby was also the original Barkley the Dog on Sesame Street. He has performed his unique acrobatic dances throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.
As an assistant to head coach Kelli Hill, Toby coached Olympic gymnast Dominique Dawes. He has coached nationally with the USAG TOPS program for nine years and continues to be a National Level Judge with USA Gymnastics.
Married to Kathy Talbott and father of Ella, Anya & Eva Towson, he us currently living with his family in Myersvile, Maryland. Toby taught in Maryland public schools for ten years before developing the Alphabet Dancer Assembly Show. He is also an adjunct dance teacher at Barbara Ingram School for the Arts in Hagerstown, Maryland, and a summer lifeguard at Greenbrier State Park.
